A family cattle and tree farm outside Big Sandy in East Texas that grows Virginia pines for choose-and-cut and opens its season with a Christmas market and live music the day after Thanksgiving.
Virginia pine is the farm's own crop, sold choose-and-cut in the field, with pre-cut Fraser firs brought in for the holidays.
The season starts on the day after Thanksgiving with a Christmas market of handmade gifts from local vendors and a concert. Hayrides, hot chocolate and family photos with Santa are part of the visit. The farm has not posted hours or prices, so call ahead before you make the drive.
