A family Christmas tree farm on a county road outside Caddo Mills, east of Dallas, with choose-and-cut fields, pre-cut North Carolina Fraser fir and weekend visits with Santa.
The farm is open Friday through Sunday once the season starts, and you can either head into the fields to cut your own tree or pick from the pre-cut Fraser firs shipped in from North Carolina.
Beyond the trees there is a hayride, a mini train for kids, a miniature horse to visit and a store with ornaments and tree stands. Santa is on the farm during opening hours, and Saturday breakfasts with Santa are booked by text. Picnic areas and an outdoor grill make it easy to bring lunch and stay a while.
