Bois D'Arc Christmas Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Telephone, Texas · Fannin County
A small, organically grown Virginia pine farm on a working longhorn ranch near Telephone in Fannin County, where every tree is cut in the field and visits come with hot cocoa and a marshmallow fire pit.
The farm grows only Virginia pines, from tabletop size up to well over 12 feet, and does not sell pre-cut trees. Each tree is tagged and priced individually by height and quality, and you pay at the gift store before heading out with a bow saw (no power tools), or staff can cut it for you. Trees are shaken and baled free, and staff help tie them to the car.
The gift store sells wreaths, stands, local crafts and baked goods, and kids have a hay play area. Leashed dogs are welcome but must stay out of the tree rows. Cash and cards are accepted, not checks. Wear long pants and boots, and bring a towel for the trunk on the drive home.
