Radde Tannenbaum Farm

Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Meridian, Texas · Bosque County

A nine-acre family tree farm in the Bosque County hills near Meridian, southwest of Fort Worth, where Afghan pines grow for cut-your-own and North Carolina Fraser firs are sold alongside.

The Radde family has held this land since the 1940s and grows Afghan pine, a drought-tough tree that suits Central Texas. Dry years have thinned the field before, so the homegrown pines can sell out fast; fresh Fraser firs from North Carolina fill in for latecomers.

Hayrides, Santa, a picnic area and a gift shop with wreaths and imported German Advent calendars make it more than a quick stop. Cash, checks and cards are accepted. Give your trunk a fresh cut at home after the drive.
