Irwin Farms
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Marysville, Ohio · Union County
A Union County farm outside Marysville where a vintage tractor-pulled wagon carries families out to rows of Scotch pine, spruce and Canaan fir to cut their own tree.
Visits start with a hayride on an old tractor-drawn wagon that drops you near the best stands of trees. Most of the field is Scotch pine and spruce in the five-to-seven-foot range, with smaller blocks of Canaan fir that sell for a bit more. Staff shake out loose needles and wrap the tree in netting, and drilling for pin-style stands is offered.
Hot cocoa and coffee are sold at the sales office. The farm opens on select weekend days in late November and early December, and the last wagon heads out mid-afternoon, so arrive with time to spare.
