Cackler Farms
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Delaware, Ohio · Delaware County
A family-run choose-and-cut farm north of Columbus in Delaware County, selling trees since 1989 with six kinds of fir, spruce and pine, plus wreaths made from the farm's own greens.
Saws and tree sleds are handed out for cutting your own tree in the field, and gas-powered saws are not allowed. Trees are priced by the foot, with spruce and white pine cheapest, Canaan and Fraser fir a step up, and trees ten feet and taller priced higher.
The farm opens just before Thanksgiving for a short season of afternoon weekday hours and full weekend days, and it encourages booking a reservation ahead of the visit. A food truck is often on site, there is a big wreath frame for family photos, and leashed dogs are welcome.
