A Christmas tree farm on the south side of Columbus near Lockbourne, with Fraser and Canaan fir, blue spruce and a few white pines to cut in the field, plus a gift shop and daily Santa visits.
Bedford Falls opens with a pre-cut preview weekend before Thanksgiving, then lets visitors into the fields to cut their own on the weekend after Thanksgiving and the first weekend of December. Trees are priced by height and variety, and white pine is in limited supply.
The gift shop stocks vintage and one-of-a-kind finds, crafts, fresh wreaths and grave blankets, and every visitor gets a cookie and cocoa there. Santa is on hand each open day. Open days are few, so expect company on the weekend after Thanksgiving.
