A small family-run tree farm on Bull Valley Road east of Woodstock where you cut your own tree at a simple two-tier price, with free hot chocolate or coffee while you warm up.
Saws are provided, and the crew can cut the tree for you for an extra fee. There are only two prices, one for trees under nine feet and a slightly higher one for taller trees, which makes budgeting easy for families after a big tree.
A small gift shop sells handmade goods from local vendors. Bring cash or a check, since cards are not taken, and bring your own twine to be safe. The farm posts its season on Facebook rather than a website, so check there before you drive out.
