O'Neal's Christmas Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Amelia Court House, Virginia · Amelia County
A no-frills family choose-and-cut farm off Route 360 in Amelia, about 35 miles west of Richmond, growing Southern favorites like Virginia pine and eastern red cedar alongside white and Scotch pine.
O'Neal's keeps things simple: fresh trees in the field and a family on hand to help. Staff will help with cutting, then shake and bale the tree for the ride home. The farm grows white pine, Scotch pine, Virginia pine and eastern red cedar, so it is a good pick if you want a traditional Virginia-grown tree rather than a shipped-in fir.
The farm is open on weekends during the season. Heading west on 360, turn right at the light by the Food Lion in Amelia, cross the railroad tracks and follow Elm Cottage Road about half a mile.
