Evergreen Acres
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Nokesville, Virginia · Prince William County
Prince William County's own cut-your-own tree farm, a field of white pine and Norway spruce near Nokesville where every tree is still growing in the ground and a brewery sits on the same property.
There are no pre-cut trees here. You walk the field, pick a white pine or Norway spruce, and cut it with one of the farm's saws, or ask staff to help. A wagon shuttles trees back to the sales shed, where they are shaken and netted at no charge, and twine for the car roof is free. Trees are priced per tree rather than by height.
Free hot mulled cider is served. Wear boots, since the field can be wet after rain. The owner notes that the farm's own website is the reliable source for current hours, so check it before you go.
