Fulk Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Platte City, Missouri · Platte County
A family tree farm three miles west of Platte City on Highway 92 with Scotch and white pines to cut yourself, Michigan-grown firs for a pre-cut option and a heated barn shop for checkout.
Hand saws are free to use, and power saws are not allowed in the field. Scotch and white pine are the cut-your-own trees; Fraser, Douglas and balsam fir and blue spruce come in pre-cut from northern growers because they do not grow well locally. You can also tag a tree early, pre-pay and come back later to cut it.
Every tree is shaken and netted at no charge, and staff will drill the trunk for a stand on request. Twine is available, but you tie the tree to your car yourself. Free wagon rides run on weekends, and the heated Christmas shop sells wreaths, greenery, ornaments and tree stands. Cash, checks with ID and major cards are accepted.
