Bierman's Christmas Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Kansas City, Kansas · Wyandotte County
A family tree farm in the southwest corner of Kansas City, Kansas, where you cut Scotch, Austrian or white pine in the field and can pick a shipped-in Fraser, balsam or Canaan fir instead.
The field trees are pines you cut yourself, up to about 10 feet, while pre-cut white and Scotch pines and taller firs wait near the barn for anyone who would rather skip the saw. The heated barn holds a gift shop with fresh wreaths and garland, and there is hot chocolate and a Christmas picture cutout for family photos.
A short sleigh ride runs for a small per-person fee, with the youngest children riding free. The farm is only open on a handful of weekend days and closes early once trees run out, so go on the first weekends for the widest choice. Card payments carry a small surcharge.
