A small Shelby County farm near Waldron, about 40 minutes southeast of Indianapolis, with cut-your-own pines on a handful of weekends and a farm stand of greenery, crafts and holiday trimmings.
The farm opens for cutting on three weekends starting the Friday after Thanksgiving, and you can book an appointment if those dates do not work. Its pines have taken ribbons at the Indiana State Fair.
The farm stand sells fresh greenery, handmade crafts and Christmas trimmings, and the farm runs wreath-making classes during the season. Hours are a daytime window on open days, so plan to arrive well before dusk.
