Bottoms Christmas Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Cumming, Georgia · Forsyth County
A large Forsyth County choose-and-cut farm with more than 5,000 trees in the field, from 4-foot cypress up to 11-foot Leylands and Murrays, plus pre-cut North Carolina Fraser firs in the barn.
The farm hands you a saw and you do the cutting. Leyland and Murray cypress are the main crop, with whole fields of tall 8- to 11-foot trees, while Carolina Sapphire and white pine top out around 8 feet and a few Virginia pines reach about 10. Fresh-cut Fraser firs from North Carolina stand in the barn and usually last into early December.
Santa visits on several Saturday mornings for free family photos, and there is a farm store. Leashed dogs are welcome. The farm is closed on Sundays and opens only in the late afternoon on weekdays after Thanksgiving week, so plan a Saturday if you want daylight to browse.
