Sandhill Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Grafton, Wisconsin · Ozaukee County
A Fraser fir specialist on the Milwaukee River in Grafton with more than 35 acres of cut-your-own trees, a bonfire, free hot chocolate and a holiday gift shop, open only on a handful of weekends.
The farm hands out saws, and staff will help with cutting if you want it, then net the tree and help secure it to your car. Only Fraser fir grows in the cut-your-own fields; pre-cut Fraser, balsam and Canaan fir from 4 to 12 feet are on hand if you would rather not cut.
The grounds have ample parking and no steep slopes, and polite leashed dogs are welcome. Free hot chocolate and candy canes, a bonfire and a gift shop with wreaths round out a visit. Field trees are limited, so come on an early weekend. Families with autistic children or sensory needs can book a quiet visit outside regular hours.
