A Caroline County farm near Bowling Green selling choose-and-cut white pine, Scotch pine and spruce, with a Christmas gift shop and fresh roping and wreaths.
The tree season runs from Thanksgiving weekend until just before Christmas, from 9 a.m. until dark, and the gift shop opens a couple of weeks earlier for wreaths, roping and holiday gifts. Field trees are white pine, Scotch pine and spruce.
The farm also grows daylilies, which it sells on summer weekends. From Richmond, take I-95 north to Route 207, continue through Bowling Green onto Route 2 and turn onto Farmer Drive.
