Big Sky Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Portland, Tennessee · Sumner County
A Sumner County farm near Portland growing white pine, Leyland and Murray cypress and Green Giant to cut yourself, with mountain-grown Fraser firs and living spruce for planting after the holidays.
Every choose-and-cut tree in the field sells at one flat price, so you can focus on the shape you like rather than the tag. The farm lends a saw and nets the tree for the ride home. If you would rather not cut, there are pre-cut Fraser firs in a wide range of heights, plus balled-and-burlapped Norway and blue spruce and container trees you can plant in the yard in spring.
Wreaths, roping and greenery round out the shop. The farm also offers home delivery and removal within about 60 miles, booked through its website. Cash and cards are accepted.
