Koch Christmas Trees
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Okeana, Ohio · Butler County
A reservation-only tree farm in rural Reily Township, now in its 25th season, growing a wide mix of pines, spruces and firs including Turkish and Nordmann fir.
Book one time slot per family, however many trees you plan to take home. Only tagged trees are for sale, and cutting an untagged tree carries a penalty, so look for the tag before you saw. Most trees are 6 to 8 feet, with a few taller Canaan firs.
On the last two weekends of the season, Norway and white spruce are tagged at a lower price; they hold needles less well than firs and pines, but a late-cut spruce can last into the new year. Wreaths are made by hand on the farm, and you can ask for a custom one if the wreath makers are outside. Hot chocolate is on the house.
