A family nursery north of Hamilton that is open every day of the season, with Canaan fir, spruce and white pine to cut, wreaths made on the farm and free hot chocolate and cookies.
No reservation is needed. Walk the fields for Canaan fir, white pine and blue spruce, with Norway spruce opening for cutting a little later in the season. Staff can help cut, haul, shake and tie the tree to your car, and they sell and fit tree stands at no extra charge. Pre-cut Fraser fir and balled-and-burlapped trees for planting are also sold.
Wreaths, swags and table arrangements are made on site, and there are antique tractors and old cars to look at. Fields close at dark. Bring cash or a check.
