Jordan Lake Christmas Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Apex, North Carolina · Chatham County
A family farm near Jordan Lake in its fourth decade of Christmas seasons, with a choose-and-cut field of Southern pines and cypress, mountain Fraser firs, hayrides, a play area and a concession stand with hot cocoa and mini donuts.
You walk the choose-and-cut field to pick a Virginia pine, Leyland cypress or Carolina Sapphire, and the farm crew handles the cutting. Pre-cut North Carolina Fraser firs, white pines and concolor firs are sold too, along with balled-and-burlapped trees you can plant after the holidays.
The busiest weekends need a free online reservation, even if you are only picking up a tree you tagged earlier, so book as soon as the system opens in early November. Hayrides, a children's play area, wreath workshops and holiday photo sessions fill out the visit. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the farm takes cash, cards and Apple Pay.
