Bluestone Greenery
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Sugar Grove, North Carolina · Watauga County
A greenery farm in Sugar Grove that grows Fraser firs from about five to eleven feet for choose-and-cut and makes decorated wreaths, garland and handmade holiday gifts.
Bluestone is as much about greenery as trees. Alongside the Fraser fir fields you will find plain and decorated wreaths, double-faced wreaths and garland, and the farm also ships by mail order.
Hayrides and drinks are offered on open days. The season runs a weekend longer than many neighbors, into mid-December, which helps if you decorate late. Hours run a full day on open dates, so there is time to browse the greenery after cutting your tree.
