Stuart's Fruit Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Granite Springs, New York · Westchester County
A long-running Westchester fruit farm in Granite Springs, known for fall apple picking, that opens its Douglas fir fields for cut-your-own trees after Thanksgiving with no reservation needed.
The cut-your-own fields grow Douglas fir, and Fraser fir is sold pre-cut for anyone who wants a different look or doesn't want to saw. Visits are first come, first served, so there's no booking to juggle, and arriving earlier in the season gives you the widest choice.
The farm is open Wednesday through Sunday during the tree season, running until Christmas Eve, and closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Earlier in the fall it's a pick-your-own apple orchard with a farm market, so it's worth a return trip when the orchards are ripe.
