Stokoe Farms

Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Scottsville, New York · Monroe County

A big family farm south of Scottsville with u-cut fields of Fraser, Douglas and concolor fir, free wagon rides out to the rows and a busy courtyard with a grill, cider donuts and specialty hot chocolate.

Pick up a hand saw (or bring a battery-powered one; gas saws are not allowed), ride the wagon out and cut your own tree. Leave it at the nearest wagon stop and the crew brings it back to the courtyard, where shaking, baling and twine are free. Trees are drilled only for pin stands, which the farm sells. Pay in the gift shop with the bottom half of your tag.

There is also a pre-cut barn and a discount field with tagged trees at lower prices. Leashed dogs are welcome during tree season but not inside buildings. Admission and parking are free, and the restrooms include family rooms with changing tables.
