A weekend-only tree farm in Spencerport where a wagon carries you out to fields of Douglas, Fraser, Turkish, Trojan, balsam and concolor fir, with free hot chocolate and popcorn waiting in the barn.
Ride the wagon to the field, choose a tree, cut it with one of the farm's saws and the crew brings it back for you. Most trees run 6 to 10 feet. Baling is free, and trees are drilled at no charge if you buy a Stand Straight stand. The hayride needs a signed waiver, which you can print ahead of time.
Pre-cut and potted trees are also sold, along with plain and hand-decorated wreaths. Leashed dogs are allowed. Plan to arrive before the last wagon leaves the barn an hour before closing.
