Noel's Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Litchfield, New Hampshire · Hillsborough County
A busy family tree farm in Litchfield, about an hour north of Boston, with cut-your-own Fraser, balsam and concolor fir, a huge pre-cut lot and free weekend hayrides, Santa visits and a petting zoo.
Choose-and-cut opens on Black Friday and runs until the field trees are gone. Pick your tree and staff will measure it before you cut, so you know the price first. Bow saws are supplied and power tools are not allowed, and field cutting ends at 4:30 p.m.
Pre-cut trees go on sale the weekend before Thanksgiving and run from tabletop size to very tall. Weekends bring free hayrides and Santa in the early afternoon, and there is a petting zoo, a tree maze, free hot cocoa and fire pits for s'mores. Wreaths, garland, centerpieces and kissing balls are sold too. The farm takes cash, checks and major cards.
