Doe Orchards
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Harvard, Massachusetts · Worcester County
A long-running family orchard on Ayer Road in Harvard, best known for pick-your-own apples and summer berries, that opens its fields for cut-your-own Christmas trees after Thanksgiving.
Choose-and-cut season starts the Friday after Thanksgiving and lasts until the trees are gone, so an early visit gives you the widest pick. The tree fields close to new arrivals half an hour before the farm shuts in the afternoon.
The farm has been in the Doe family for generations and is a regular stop in other seasons too: blueberries and raspberries in summer and a long list of apple varieties in fall. Cards, cash and checks are accepted. Check the Christmas tree page or the farm's social media before you go, since details for the season are posted closer to opening.
