Prince Trees (Zeeland/Borculo)
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Zeeland, Michigan · Ottawa County
A fourth-generation family farm in the Borculo area north of Zeeland, in the business since 1961, where every u-cut pine and spruce sells for one flat price no matter how tall it grows.
Grab one of the farm's handsaws and head into the rows of white and Scotch pine or blue, white and Norway spruce. Fraser and concolor fir are offered only as pre-cut trees, priced by height, near the sales area. Shaking, baling and drilling each cost a dollar, and stands and tree bags are for sale.
Bring cash or a local check, because credit cards are not accepted at any Prince location. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. The lot is closed on Sundays, and handmade wreaths in several sizes are sold alongside the trees.
