Houde's Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Marlborough, Massachusetts · Middlesex County
A MetroWest tree farm on Berlin Road in Marlborough with a small cut-your-own field of spruce and pine and a large pre-cut selection of Nova Scotia balsam fir, many of them eight and nine feet tall.
The cut-your-own field is limited: mostly spruce and pine around five feet, plus a few taller Scotch pine and Norway spruce, and no balsam or Fraser fir to cut. Saws are on site, or bring your own along with twine. Staff will give the trunk a fresh cut and wrap the tree in netting.
If you want a tall fir, the pre-cut balsams are the draw, and the farm delivers them to Marlborough and nearby towns. Plain and decorated wreaths and loose evergreen branches are sold too. Payment is cash or check, leashed dogs are welcome, and the farm asks you to call ahead to check what is available.
