Guse Christmas Trees
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Wanatah, Indiana · LaPorte County
A Wanatah tree farm in LaPorte County where staff hand you a saw at the red shed and walk you through cutting your own Fraser or Douglas fir.
Pick up a saw at the red shed by the entrance, head into the field and cut your tree. Back at the barn, staff shake out old needles, wrap the tree for the drive home and help load it onto your vehicle. The farm grows Fraser fir and Douglas fir.
Santa visits on select weekends, and The Shed craft shop carries work by local artists along with fresh wreaths, garland and centerpieces. Leashed dogs are welcome and all major credit cards are accepted. The closing date depends on how many trees are left, so earlier visits have the most choice.
