A family-run tree farm on 80 acres of rolling hills near Rolling Prairie, growing nine kinds of fir, spruce and pine that you can cut at heights from about 6 to 15 feet.
Bow saws and a measuring pole are handed out for the field, and chainsaws are not allowed. Shaking and baling are free, the crew drills trunks for pin-style stands, and the farm sells its own stands. Canaan, concolor and Fraser fir grow alongside Black Hills, Colorado blue and Norway spruce and red, Scotch and white pine, and balled-and-burlapped trees are sold for planting.
On the first weekends of the season, horse-drawn wagons run out to the rows and Santa visits. The gift shop carries wreaths, roping and ornaments. Leashed dogs are welcome if you bring bags. Cash, checks and cards are accepted, with a small fee on cards.

At Dudeck's Pine Country you can cut your own Christmas tree.
