Frosty Mountain Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Sebastopol, California · Sonoma County
A Sebastopol choose-and-cut farm on Mariola Road known for its Douglas fir, with free hayrides behind a vintage tractor, a kids' train, weekend goats and an old red barn turned into Santa's Workshop.
Saws are provided, staff will help with cutting, and carts are available for large trees. Douglas fir is the main crop, with Scotch pine, Sequoia redwood and Leyland cypress also in the fields and pre-cut noble fir on hand. Trees are shaken free of charge, netting is a small extra, and the farm will drill the trunk for a spike stand.
Mrs. Claus' Kitchen serves hot dogs, apple fritters, cocoa and hot cider, and the picnic areas and play structures welcome tailgate lunches. Weekday hours start at noon, so weekend mornings are the time for a long visit.
