Linvilla Orchards

Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Media, Pennsylvania · Delaware County

A large Delaware County orchard and family farm in Media where a wagon carries you out to the Douglas fir fields, with Santa, pony rides and a holiday market back at the barns.

Cut-your-own is a flat price per tree that covers the wagon ride to the field, shaking, wrapping and squaring off the base. Most trees are five- to eight-foot Douglas firs, with a smaller number of Canaan firs. You must ride the wagon, and only the saws Linvilla provides may be used. No tickets are needed.

Back at the farm, Christmasland sells pre-cut trees, wreaths and greens, and weekend visits with Santa need no reservation. Pony rides, a petting zoo and an ice rink round out the day. The orchard also runs pick-your-own for berries, stone fruit, apples, pumpkins and flowers in other seasons.
