Shaker Tract Tree Farm

A small choose-and-cut farm 18 miles northwest of Cincinnati near New Haven, run by a forester, with Canaan fir as the main tree and a gift shop selling handmade wooden baskets.
The farm hands out a saw, a sled and a ground mat, or staff will cut the tree you pick. Canaan fir fills most of the rows, with some balsam and white fir as well. Your tree is cleaned, netted and loaded onto your vehicle, and the farm can drill the trunk for pin-style stands.
Warm drinks and cookies are offered in the gift shop. The farm sits close to the Shaker Trace Trail and the old Whitewater Shaker Village, so it pairs well with a walk. Bring cash or a check; cards are not taken.
