A u-cut tree farm right off Thruway Exit 57A in Eden, growing nine kinds of fir, spruce and pine, with trees up to 12 feet tall.
Look for the red barn and brown house on Eden Evans Center Road, just across from the Thruway exit. The fields hold a wide mix: concolor, Douglas, balsam, Fraser and Canaan fir, blue, Norway and Black Hills spruce, and white pine, with trees up to about 12 feet.
The farm is open only a handful of days, starting the day after Thanksgiving, and the final weekend happens only if good-sized trees are still standing, so earlier is better. Credit cards are accepted.
