A Mendham farm about 45 minutes from Manhattan with cut-your-own firs up to about 9 feet, taller pre-cut trees, a Christmas train, bonfires and a hot chocolate bar.
Pick a Fraser, concolor or Canaan fir in the field, and staff will cut, trim, bundle and load it for free. Pre-cut trees run much taller if you need a big one.
Only cash and checks are accepted, with an ATM on site. Train rides run all day on weekends and late afternoons on weekdays, and the Santa Expedition needs tickets bought ahead. Leashed dogs are allowed if you clean up after them and keep them away from other guests. Bonfires and marshmallow roasting depend on the weather.
