Urquhart's Tree Farm
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Chelsea, Michigan · Washtenaw County
A large u-cut farm west of Ann Arbor with more than 200 acres of Christmas trees, free hay rides to the fields and a heated gift shop in a historic red barn.
The farm loans bow saws and carts for free, and you can bring your own gas or battery saw. Optional complimentary hay rides drop you near the best rows. If your tree turns out too tall, staff can trim it at the barn, and they help load it onto your car. Noble fir is sold pre-cut only.
Cash, checks, major cards and contactless payments are accepted. Leashed dogs are welcome. There are portable toilets but no running water. The barn shop sells hand-decorated wreaths, cedar roping and steel tree stands.
