Greenspot Farms
Cut-your-own Christmas trees · Mentone, California · San Bernardino County
An Inland Empire farm near Redlands that grows its own Monterey pines, cedars and redwoods for cutting, and turns the holidays into an evening outing with a lighted hayride and visits with Santa.
Greenspot grows trees from tabletop size up to about sixteen feet, and you can cut your own in the field or pick one already cut. Starting in October you can reserve a tree ahead of the season, and Oregon firs are brought in pre-cut in early December for those who want a fir.
The farm stays open into the evening during the holidays, with a lighted hayride, Santa visits, hot cocoa and cider, s'mores and a gift shop with wreaths and garland. Flocking, fire retardant, delivery and setup are offered for an extra charge, with a day's notice for flocking. Call ahead for current prices, which are not posted online.
